Larp is not carp. I looked up larp online and it stands for live action role playing. I guess if you are an actor, this might be a good word for you to look up online. Next, I conducted a search for larp images and saw that people role-play a lot of different roles, like a goblin, two girls as warriors playing kill the man warrior, or vampires. When people role-play, they often dress in original costume to get the entire feel of the role. This makes playing the role a lot easier and more enjoyable. Of course if all you have is an old sheet that should work just fine with some paint sprayed on it and ripped a little to make a dress or pants. Getting creative with this can also be lots of fun.
