This is what can deteriorate landscape brick prematurely because the moisture causes the brick to expand. It then shrinks again as the sun dries it out. It is this constant expanding and shrinking that eventually breaks down the material and causes it to crack and crumble apart. A paver sealer can be the best investment for you brick paver surfaces. It stops negative effects from happening and shields from mold and mildew as well. It is certainly worth looking into as our brick paver walkway still looks good years later.
