Saving Money With Cloth Diapers
Did you know that the average cost of diapering your child has for the first year or two is about two thousand dollars? I bet you they didn’t tell you that before you got pregnant. It’s an unfortunate reality that the diapering industry has gone with disposable simply the cause. There’s so much money to be made at an. I didn’t realize this, but as it turns out cloth diapers can save you hundreds of dollars every year.
But the disposable diapering history is a multibillion-dollar industry. Let me say that again, it is a multibillion-dollar industry. That means that they can spend millions of dollars advertising how great their diapers are each as people are willing to spend so much money on them. Sure, they’re convenient, but are they really thousands of dollars worth of convenience?
Also, in the last few years, prefold cloth diapers have really come a long ways to become easy. Just as usable as a disposable. You still have to wash them, but no more messing with safety pins and all that junk. Now they’re actually all in one diapers that you can just throw in the wash when you’re done with them.
That is so much more convenient than the old days. It’s not even funny, and perhaps that’s one of the reasons why people don’t seem to be using cloth diapers as much. Many parents and grandparents have bad memories of what it was like using cloth diapers twenty or thirty years ago that they just don’t realize that modern cloth diapers are so much similar to disposable diapers.
