Trick or Treats: How to get the Best out of the IPod World
I just bought this IPod Classic 120gb for my birthday present and loaded it with a lot of stuff like videos, books, music and games that I downloaded in the internet. I was having fun with it and have been using it for a couple of days. There was no problem really, just the fact that, I can’t put more stuff into it. I tried a lot of things and asked a lot of people, it turns out that not many people are interested in tinkering with their iPods. But I know I can get more out of my IPod. 120 GB is a lot of space. In my mind runs the thought of “how can i unlock my ipod? I search Google and look for people who have experienced the same thing that I am experiencing right now. I was surprised to note that a lot of people wanted to know how to unlock their IPods. Millions of “how do i unlock my ipod?” turn up from the Search Engine. Luckily, I followed this guy’s instruction on YouTube. It just involved some simple steps. • First, connect your IPod to your computer. Open up “My Computer”. • Then click on your IPod’s folder. Click on the “Tools” on the Dialog Box. • Click on the “Folders Option”. A screen will appear then click “ View” , • Click the circle next to the “Show hidden files and folders” • You will then see a folder “ Ipod_Control”, click on it. • Click and open the “Device Folder”, you will see a file named “_locked” if your iPod’s locked. • Right-Click the file name and rename it to “_unlocked “and press enter. • Eject your iPod and now it is unlocked. That’s it. =)
